Hmmmm

just a little bit of rambling thoughts this evening... a calm and cool end to a most beautiful day. My Dad and I were able to take advantage of the weather to spend a few hours together on the links - hacking up some turf and losing balls left right and centre in the soggy soggy fairway. But it was fun, nonetheless and it was great to spend some time together, something not done enough i think - spending time with the ones we love. I think my final score was 46,302 and Dad had about 95.... as you can see, we did not keep too good of track of our score... suffice it to say, i need tonnes more practice. Aahh...anyone want to go golfing?

Cool at last

Just thought i'd send out a little itty bitty post - just cause i'm waiting for my beets to boil (yum, yum!!! First really significant produce from my own little garden - i can't wait to taste them! The lettuce went a little crazy so that didn't count) and i've finally found myself a nice spot to sit and be comfy - i'm sitting on the steps leading down to my basement - on the kitchen floor with the side door wide open - yep, flies, i suppose you can come in because a beautiful lovely wonderful breeze is coming in too - and it's heavenly to sit here - the internet even works here so all's good!!! I'm so not a fan of hot sticky weather - so this is great!!!
