End of an era

This is going to be short and sweet... owing to the fact that i'm using someone else's computer to post this (thanks so much dear Rachel!).  After a long and exhaustive search (well, maybe exhausting for those around me who have heard me talk about my slow computer for such a long time - even to the extent that a good friend of mine told me that my computer was even "too slow to catch a virus" - how bad is that??), i finally made my decision last night, pulled out my credit card and purchased a new computer - an HP - which i'm pretty happy about too!  I learned a lot in the last few weeks about computers, specifications and with thoughts of RAMS, Intels, and AMDs running through my poor untechnologically friendly brain, i finally decided.  And a good thing too, i have a feeling my old computer sensed it's time was up - after all, it's kinda like "cooking a young goat in it's mother's milk"; i was using it to look up how to buy a new laptop - perhaps there's a chip in the computer's brain that allows it to sense it's own demise.  However it works out, i bought it last night (but it won't arrive until Tuesday) and there was no way that i could bypass the "blue screen of death" this morning - it made funny noises, the fan was working overtime and no way, no how was it going to wake up.   So it's goodbye Dell, hello HP!!

Totally Punked....

BOOKS ARE:  my friends...(ooops, that makes me sound kinda psycho...)

WRITERS ARE:  ingenious

I AM:  tired and happy to be home from work and relieved to have avoided my neighbour the skunk

WE ARE:  alone?

ONCE:  I had a Cookie-Ohs eating contest with my sister in a traffic jam in Oxford, England...

SOMETIMES:   I like to take a nap, watch stars, eat icecream and shop for books...

OFTEN TIMES:  I love hanging around with my friends and family...

AND THEN:  I fall asleep
