what am i doing right now?

Good afternoon all...
Currently i'm listening to my third load of laundry spinning its merry way around the dryer and am sitting at my kitchen table, my lovely kitchen table which my wonderful family and friends found for me for $50 at a garage sale and am sorta trying to figure out what to do with my afternoon. I have a day off today and that is just wonderful. This morning i was able to sleep in (woke up at 8 and decided that was too early so i got up at 9!! Wow, did that ever feel nice!) and had a lovely shower and a yummy breakfast of tea biscuits and jam (though i did figure out that the butter was "off" unfortunately) I have only killed one earwig today thus far and that is also an exciting thing seeing as my previous post may have given you some indication as to my hatred level for the creepy crawlies! I sat by the poolside of our neighbours down the road and watched my friend's children doing swimming lessons - those first hesitant strokes are hard to make - kinda like anything in life eh? You have to trust that someone will be there to watch you, catch you and help you along the way. Thankfully, as Christians we have our God to care for and guide us as we make our way through life's turbulent waves and calm periods. These last few weeks have definitely been a whirlwind it seems. Lots to do and so little time in which to do it. Lots of committee work, work at the hospital and looking for houses (nothing yet, for those of you who are interested - i went again last evening with no success - but my real estate agent is infinitely patient and keeps telling me that buying a house is like buying shoes - you have to wait for the right pair to come along and sometimes that takes a little while - one that fits your lifestyle, budget, and tastes. And since i don't tend to go shoe shopping very often, i guess i'm out of practise. But something will come along sometime so i'm not allowed to stress - i don't think i am stressing but just maybe a little eager to find something so i'm not throwing away money on rent. So i've nearly made up my mind as to what to do - a trip to the library to find a book for my non-existent reading time, a trip to the Dump Store to find some treasures and packing for Campfire. So i will leave you all now with a fond farewell and a wish that you all have a great day!
