a solid band of gold ringing the horizon...hinting of the splendor of the day gone by and foretelling the darkness to come...
amber-orange-red-yellow fire all blended together in a celestial masterpiece, crafted by a master painter
Did you look up from your busyness?
A glow nearly hidden under looming clouds
heavy with promise of snow
yet brilliant and warm and brave
radiating a small bit of hope and light into my afternoon
My heart was happy and i was moved
i watched it
A few short minutes and then the sun sank away
and
was
gone
