Wheat fields forever... nope, no strawberries here...

So, i was driving along a country road last evening, listening to my little audio book and just humming away to myself when i was struck by the beauty of the sky and the land. A huge contrast between dark blue skies, peeks of sunlight and the beautiful ripening wheat/grain type crop growing in the fields, rolling away from me and undulating (i love that word, it's not often that you can use it properly - hopefully i am - "to move in waves or in a smooth wavelike motion") across the landscape. I quickly scooted home and picked up my Dad and we ditched the car and tromped out into the field. It was a beautiful temperature - that feeling after a storm when all feels so clean and new. Anyhow, enjoy the pics - i had fun taking them and maybe they'll brighten your day!
