Hey there...
Not that you (all two of my faithful readers) knew i was gone, but i'm back home after a short little odyssey to Haiti. I spent a week with Randy and Karen Lodder, catching up with them, learning more about life in Haiti, playing with their wonderful children and enjoying some of the beautiful sights.
I miss the sun, the warmth, the lack of sweaters and socks, the games at night, the early bedtimes, the early rising times (wait, not so much that!), the good friends and company we enjoyed. I don't really relish the snowdrifts, the quiet house, the pile of bills and winter clothes. I do love my heater, my slippers and catching up with friends but hey, that's why it's nice to be away for a little while to make you appreciate all the blessings you have in both places right?!
Pictures are on their way in a few days...

Thanks, all you loyal readers... nice to hear from y'all and there will be pictures, just not quite yet, i need to sort through them and see which ones aren't actually blurry - they certainly weren't super shots to be sure!
I'm #4, and I DID check your blog for updates b/c I missed you at Berean's! Had NO idea you were gone though (sorry) - no one told me! I still haven't seen the pics from your last trip...
