Saturday February 26

The Spectator... our local news source.  On the day that New Zealand had their earthquake, what was the front page news?  That Hamilton got new police cars.  Hmmm... not seeing the correlation between being a current events paper and not reporting the big news on the front page.
And then there's the forecast... how often is that correct?  They call for sun and there's snow.  They call for rain and there's a dry day... So when they called for 8 cm of snow, i must say that the very skeptical part of my nature was peaked and doubting Danielle went into work not expecting much!

Leave it to the Spec to make police cars a priority! And the weather...don't even get me started on their lack of correct predictions!!

well you probably heard my rant about this. but then the spec is a local paper, a step up from the mountain news?
